June Dairy Month: Weekly Instagram Live Q&A UPDATE
This month is June Dairy Month. And I wanted to plan some fun, new things for my blog. I posted some polls on my Instagram to find out what you all wanted to see. It was so great to hear from all of you about what you want to see more of and what questions you have. Well from your suggestions, I decided to do a weekly LIVE Instagram Q&A. Each week this month, I will be going live on my Instagram to answer your questions about dairy farming. And continuing with the theme, "The Story of Milk", I want to make every week its own topic. Below is a break down of each week. Be sure to leave me a comment below with some questions for each week!
Week 1: Dairy Sustainability
For the first week, we will be kicking off this Instagram live series talking about my favorite: Dairy Sustainability. Tune in to my Instagram on Wednesday, June 6 at 11 am MST. Week 2: Cow Care
For week 2, I will be teaming up with my awesome husband, Milkman Dan, and our dairy cow nutritionist, Clancy Calrk, to answer all your cow care questions. When I posted the polls on my Instagram, I had a ton of responses with questions about maternity cows, milk cows, and calves. We will be live on Wednesday, June 13 at 11 am MST for this live event. Week 3: Kids and Nutrition
Week 3 will be all about milk and nutrition. I will be bringing in Sara Robbins, a registered dietician with DairyMAX and a mom, to help answer your questions related to milk, cheese, and yogurt. I want to hear your questions about milk from different types of milk to lactose-free to great ways to incorporate dairy products into your diet. We will be live on my Instagram on Wednesday, June 20 at 11 am MST. I will be posting the video to my Facebook page and will link to it here. 
Week 4: Dairy Farm and Family Life
And finally, in week 4. I want to use the last week as a wrap up to June Dairy Month. If there is a particular topic that comes up throughout the month, I will use this week's Q&A to cover it. And any final questions you all have, this is the time to ask them! That's the general layout for weekly Instagram live Q&A. I am sure things will change a little between now and the last week of the month. But I wanted to lay the groundwork for the weekly topics. Now I want to hear from you!
